Wolfgang Puck says Starbucks sucks

Should we believe Wolfgang or is he trying to promote his drinks. I do not drink Starbucks as I personally do not like there taste, but a lot of consumers do. It is very subjective, like pizza.

Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck is expanding his culinary empire again, lending his name to a new line of bottled iced coffee drinks. And he's taking some serious shots at his new rival Starbucks in the process.

"Like when I fly on United Airlines they say, 'We proudly serve Starbucks coffee.' I said they should say, 'We are embarrassed to serve Starbucks coffee,'" Puck told Houston's Culture Map while on a trip to the city where his new sweetened coffee drinks are being made.
Puck claims to be a purist. "To me, coffee is a way of life...We have coffee all the time. To me, coffee is one of the most important things in life," Puck told CultureMap.
Of course, some true coffee snobs would hold their nose at Puck's bottled drinks, which include flavors such as Cafe Au Lait, Double Blend Mocha, and Vanilla Fusion.

Even though Starbucks also makes bottled coffee drinks, Puck says they don't even compare.
"Starbucks, what they make, if you open a bottle and smell it, what did they do to the coffee?" They created a taste in the memory for people, which is interesting, so that people really think it's good coffee," Puck said.

"But it's terrible!"
